HHS Sends Us a Tracking Number – via Postcard

A few days after submitting our FOIA request to HHS, a postcard came in the mail with our tracking number – 2013-0021MT (see picture below). The postcard, which was also hand-addressed, included a phone number and mailing address for the FOIA office.

Filing with the Department of Health and Human Services

We filed our request with the Department of Health and Human Services via online form on 10/4/2012. We received an automatically generated confirmation email that told us a postcard would be sent with our tracking number.
